Daily Activities & Services Our Caregivers Perform
Companionship--Our caregiver’s company will brighten your loved one’s day and help them overcome feeling isolated. We’re glad to spend time chatting and reminiscing about the past, reliving memories and sharing stories. If you’ve got pen pals, we can assist with letter writing and correspondence, help you pick out and mail cards to your loved ones on special occasions, and make sure you don’t miss any important birthdays! And if you have neighbors and friends who are close by or you’d like to go share a meal with, we’re happy to get you there!
Daily Routine & Grooming Care--Our caregivers will aid morning routines such as getting out of bed, bathing, shaving, and getting dressed and ready for the day ahead. In the evening we can assist with nighttime routines, brushing teeth, changing clothes, and tucking you in for a restful night sleep.
also assist with preparing grocery lists and planning future meals. They can take you grocery shopping or help by picking up groceries for you. Another important thing we do is check expiration dates on foods in the refrigerator and cupboard to make sure it is consumed or disposed of before it goes bad. This is another often overlooked task but very vital for home cleanliness!
Relief Care--Sometimes you just need a break! We’ll fill in the gap so that you can have some much needed “you” time. Whether it’s a few hours in the morning or afternoon, or a couple nights a week, we know that when you are well rested and taking care of yourself, you are better able to care for your loved ones. Laundry--We’ll help keep laundry from piling up. Wash, dry, fold, & put away! Making beds & regularly changing linens, & ironing clothes are a few ways we can provide assistance. Running Errands--A quick trip to the grocery or medicine shop is right up our alley. We can transport you to and from the store and make sure your errands are taken care of, even picking up birthday cards or gifts for your loved ones! |

Medical Reminders--Whether it’s an upcoming appointment or remembering which medications to take on a given day, our caregivers make sure your loved one stays consistent and help them avoid missing the little things so they can focus on what’s really important.
Home Maintenance & Housekeeping Services--Hands and Hearts Caregivers can ensure that simple chores around the house get taken care of like dusting, washing and putting away dishes, taking out the trash, fetching the mail, making sure plants are watered, and keeping things tidy around the home. Assisting With Pet Care--Dogs need to be walked, litter boxes need to be cleaned out, fish need to have their water changed, and they all need to be fed! We’ll make sure the four legged, feathered, or finned members of your household get the same great care you do! |
Recreational Activities--Let’s have some fun! You can depend on our caregivers to help foster and enjoyable and exciting activities in and out of the home. Whether it’s your favorite playing card or board game, we’re happy to help keep you entertained! Got a shopping trip, bingo game, or other shindig you just don’t want to miss, we’ll give you a lift and make sure you have a ball!

Mobility Assistance--We can make sure your loved one stays limber by helping them go on walks, stretching, and performing physical therapy exercises. We’ll help keep their blood pumping and their heart happy!
Toileting & Incontinence Care--Bladder & bowel control can be a challenge, but we can make sure your loved one avoids any accidents, helping them in and out of the bathroom frequently. We’ll observe any necessary precautions in making your loved one as comfortable as possible by ensuring they receive adequate fiber and fluids. We know that sometimes accidents can happen, and we’ll be there to clean up, change clothes or linens, manage odor or stains as needed. |
